Awesome castle. Spread across quite a large site, nice
layout. Lots to see. The castle had lots of quirky characteristics such as
decorative arches and original features. Look out for the oldest timber castle doors in Europe c.1190s! Lovely views of the River Wye. Definitely
recommend a visit!
Car park is pay and display and is located next to the castle overlooking the River Wye
Shop, cafe, toilets
Guidebooks and information panels around the castle
